registering or upgrade to a plan?

    I have read that I can register my domain for 18 euros per year. Registering is only for changing to a .com or is it an option with more pros like the plans offered but lower in cost? I haven’t really figured out the difference between these two. Please let me know what I get by paying the 18 euros per year.
