Reimbursements?

I was looking to update our website form the current provider we have. Our current contract expires at the end of May. I can see I can keep our domain name at both locations. My question was if we the Premium plan, we can not use our custom WordPress template we are using now. We have to use one of the supplied templates. If there is not one that would meet our needs, can we get reimbursed? I can not know the answer until I make the payment for a year currently.

Hi there, all WPcom upgrade plans have a refund window of 30 days from the date of purchase on everything but registering a custom domain, which needs to be cancelled within 96 hours of purchase in order to qualify for a refund window.

You can see all the available themes in our Theme Showcase https://wordpress.com/themes/ both free and Premium and with a Premium plan you can enable any of the Premium themes there as a part of your upgrade plan, as well as edit them with custom CSS.

If you have a custom WP theme, you would be able to use that with the WPcom Business or eCommerce plan as well as a number of other features.

All the plan features are outlined on the Pricing page at https://wordpress.com/pricing/

Hope that helps but let us know if you have any other question about this.

Thank you. I understand about the 30 day reimbursement window. We are a non-profit so I’m looking at the $8.00 plan. I understand we can not use out custom template from our other site. I’m new at this. Is there a template in the $8.00 a month Premium package where we can incorporate video and a calendar?

Hello again, just to be clear, all WPcom plans are paid for a full year (or two) at checkout. At this time there is no monthly payment option. As it says on the pricing page “US$8 per month/billed annually.”

Every plan, including free plans that use free themes can have both video and a calendar incorporated. If you want to upload video to your WPcom site’s storage, you do need to have at least the Premium plan.

Here are the video and calendar options currently available to every plan other than the Business and eCommerce plans (which can use plugins):
