I would be happy to assist you in renewing your subscription. However, the upgrade that was purchased is not associated with the account you contacted us from. Until recently, you were able to renew an upgrade that was under your account, but now only the owner of the upgrade can. To confirm ownership, post in this thread under the username/account that purchased the upgrade. Then, I can look into renewing the subscription upgrade. However, you should be able to renew the domain if logged into the account that owns the upgrade.

I am confused to say the least. I can purchase an upgrade if need be but thought I only looked at doing that and yes I can access the expired domain from two different routes so am not sure where I need to be now to make the payment required to restore the original domain. I may even have two of these strings going now. Yes I need help and clear instructions as a rookie web master.

If I do purchase or have purchased an upgrade can I recover the expired domain by simply doing that and if so how?

There is no need to purchase a new upgrade if you have access to the account that originally purchased the expired domain. Do you have access to the owner’s account? if so, all you need to do is log into that account, and go to manage purchases to renew the upgrade.
