Rel=Canonical For Content Syndication and SEO in wordpress.com

  I would like to reference content that I post in other sites that I contribute to and I would like to do this with the canonical tag. How can I do this in the online wordpress.com site?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi Sangeetha,

  WordPress.com does not support the rel=canonical tag in the body of your posts. Instead, I’d recommend only posting a short excerpt of your content on your WordPress.com site here, with a regular link to the full content you posted on the other sites.

  Google also suggests you shouldn’t add the canonical tag to the body of your site, anyway. You can read more about that in point #5 here:
