Release an address

  Hi. I was setting up a blog some months ago in testing purpose for a friend, and I deleted this installation, but still it seems like the address is kept on hold and not available for her to use. The address is: sunraysinthesnow.wordpress.com.
  How can we do to release this address and make it available for her to use?

  The authors have deleted this site”.

  It is always a big mistake to delete an address if there is a remote chance of you wanting to use it again in the future, With one click you could have set that site to “Private”. Now the address is lost for the immediate future (at least two years according to support docs). I’m afraid she will have to choose a different address for any future site. You could perhaps upgrade to a paid plan and then have that address with a custom domain ending in .com instead of WordPress.com (if that address isn’t already taken of course).
