Good afternoon, I appreciate your guidance to solve this problem.
Since 2013, I have a page with the “acavih.org” domain in WordPress. In February 2017, I decided to migrate my site to Wix, but as my WordPress plan was still active, I decided to connect my “acavih.org” domain to the Wix site and it worked perfectly. The problem is that my WordPress plan has expired, and since the domain was linked, my Wix page was also disconnected from the network. I would like the domain “acavih.org” to be managed directly from Wix, but when I try to do it, the following message is shown up: ‘the domain is not available’, so I think it must be previously released from WordPress. I do not know how to do it since my plan in WordPress has already expired (but the domain is still blocked). Any suggestions? In advance thanks for your comments …

Hi there,
Your domain expired on 14 March and is currently in redemption with our registrar. It takes about 80 days after a domain expired before it is released again. Redemption is the second-to-last phase in the expiration process.
You can try waiting for the domain to be released. I estimate it will be about another three weeks before that will happen. However, be aware that there’s no guarantee you’ll be able to register it when it is released – someone else can buy it the moment it becomes available, and then you’ll lose it.
Otherwise I can try and get it back from our registrar for you. They charge a $80 fee to restore a domain from redemption, so I’ll need you to agree to that fee before I can start the recovery process.
