Release my email forwarding after domain transfer

    I’m having issues receiving emails for (email visible only to moderators and staff) using my new Google Workspace account. It was originally used as a email forwarding address in WordPress when the domain was hosted there. I don’t believe I removed the email address prior to transferring it. Now my domain has been transferred to Squarespace. I’m not sure if I can reclaim the (email visible only to moderators and staff) email address as a Google Workspace email. I did setup the email in Google Workspace, but my test emails are still being forwarded to the original email I forwarded emails to in WordPress.

    Hey there,

    Because the domain is not with WordPress.com, our support is limited.

    When a Google Workspace subscription is cancelled from a third party, Google usually sends an email asking you to renew directly with them, have you completed that step?

    If yes, the next step would be to make sure that the DNS settings for Google Workspace is set for the domain, at Squarespace.
