Released web address showing not available

  The web address I wanted to be associated with my wordpress blog has been released from my previous provider. However, it still shows as unavailable on wordpress. I have the authorization code to release but do not know how to do so.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  Did your domain name expire from your previous domain registrar, or are you trying to transfer the domain registration?

  WordPress.com doesn’t accept incoming domain transfers, so you won’t be able to transfer a domain name from another registrar to us. You’ll need to keep your domain registered there.

  You can still use your domain with your WordPress.com blog by mapping your domain to WordPress.com. We have a guide for setting that up here: Map an Existing Domain
