remap a new domain with existing account

    I have a site with one domain mapped, and I’d like to keep the mapping upgrade and change the domain name that I mapped. How do I do that?

    Hi there,

    Go to My Site ->Manage ->Domains, and add a domain mapping for the new domain. Then cancel the old one, or just switch off auto-renew so it will expire and be removed in November. I’d recommend this rather than just immediately replacing the domain, as this will ensure links at the current domain will continue to work for at least a few months more.

    As long as you have an active domain mapping on your account you can add additional mappings, but we can’t just change the domain on an existing mapping, and removing the existing mapping without adding the new one first will cause your account to switch to the new plans-only setting which will require you to upgrade to a paid plan before you can add a mapping upgrade.
