Remapping Domain from Old Account

  I am having issues mapping my domain (maggiesmudroom.ca) to my site. The domain is mapped to a different account that was created by an ex-employee and we no longer have access to the account . Is it possible to transfer the domain from maggiesmudroom.wordpress.com and map it to (email visible only to moderators and staff) instead?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  @maggiesmudroom1 we’d need to work with the upgrade owner since the upgrade is active. If they’ll reach out, we can help them transfer the upgrades to your account.

  @supernovia We have tried getting in contact with the old employee but they won’t return calls or emails. Is there anyway you can contact the owner? I also have proof of ownership for the domains if that would help at all.

  Hi @maggiesmudroom1, good news. The upgrade owner let the domain go. I still may need to do the mapping for you, but if you’ll get the plan needed for mapping, I can use your domain credit to map it for you.

  Just got an email that says my domain mapping credit has been used for “aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.com”. I don’t know why, I don’t own that domain. It should be “maggiesmudroom.ca”
