Remote posting

  I try to post from Word 2013 and it will not register with WordPress. Username/password is correct.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I’m using Word 2013 to write an article. Under the menu heading of blog post, I click on Publish. A box pops up saying I have to register an Account. The drop down menu asks to choose the blog provider. Once I click on WordPress and next, a box comes up wanting my Blog Post Url. http://darrelsparkmancom.wordpress.com/xmlrpc.php is entered. The next prompt is for user name: darrelsparkmanauthor and then the password I set up for wordpress. Once all this is entered and I click ok, I have to acknowledge everyone might see this. Then when I click ok, I get the message Word cannot register your account. Sometimes it states The account cannot be registered.

  Got it, I don’t believe we support that here actually. If you want to edit posts offline though, have you thought about using our desktop app?

  You can also copy from Word and paste into the HTML side of our editor, then head to the visual editor for formatting. We just don’t have a direct publish from Word.
