  Hi,

  On the Sela theme, that feature, called an overlay, appears on a page with the Front Page Template assigned. It displays the content of the page. Therefore it may include text, images, videos, etc. CSS customization is required to remove it. See the Remove Overlay in Front Page of Sela Theme forum topic for the code that will remove it.
