Remove Horizonal Scrolling
-
This seems to be a common issue with an easy fix, however I am using the free version of WP so I cannot edit the additional CSS file. Is there a way to stop the horizontal scrolling without editing the additional CSS? My home page has been able to be completed without paying any fee, so paying solely to get rid of the horizontal scrolling seems like a waste of money.

Hi there,
To clarify, this is an issue that happens only on your homepage yes? I did see that there was a small width issue that caused the horizontal scrollbar to display on the homepage, but I did not see it on any other pages. This is the same for you as well?
I also noticed that you edited the homepage template to add quite a bit of HTML: https://themcallisterbrand386463275.wordpress.com/wp-admin/site-editor.php?postType=wp_template&postId=pub%2Farcheo%2F%2Fhome
Did you write the code for that, or did you have someone else help you with the coding of this template?
Thanks for the additional info!

Hello,
I honestly never noticed there only being a horizontal scroll bar solely on my home page (mainly because I haven’t edited the other pages yet), but yes that is the only page the scroll bar is showing up on for me as well.
All the HTML edits to the template were done by me. I learned the basics of HTML & CSS about a year ago, so if it’s messy that’s why.
I also just realized the home link in my navbar does not go back to my homepage… I need to fix that as well. (Should know how to do that, but I’m good on that front)
Thanks for the help!

I’ve figured out the issue. Honestly I am not exactly sure why the issue occurred when it did and not at the start, but all I did was look for the group or section that was going over the 1600px width, and made sure the width was 1600px.
