Remove Nameservers from WordPress

  Hey everyone,
  I’m trying to do a total custom site again meaning I would love to remove my site from wordpress. I have purchased my domain outside of WordPress and have it hosted elsewhere also.
  Unforunately it is still mapping to wordpress and my FTP won’t let me login and my ‘nameserver’ is still WordPress junk also.

  Hi there,

  I see you successfully updated your domain’s name servers so it isn’t pointed to WordPress.com any longer, and I removed the expired mapping upgrade from your site so you won’t see it on this end any longer. (Once your domain’s name servers are changed that expired upgrade doesn’t do anything anymore, so that’s mostly just to avoid any confusion.)

  It can take up to 72 hours for domain changes like that to take effect, so you might need to wait a bit longer for your domain to start working with your new host.
