remove search option on top of theme

On the front page of my site there’s a search option on top of the page. it’s not a widget it seems so it doesn’t go away when i delete the search widget or set visibility to none.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That search bar is part of your theme’s design. You can see it on the Pictorico theme demo here: http://pictoricodemo.wordpress.com/
There isn’t a built-in way to remove that search bar. However, you can use the Custom Design upgrade to further customize your theme’s design.
If you decide to go that route, you can use Custom CSS to make extensive changes to the design, including removing that search bar. We have tips for getting started with CSS here:
