Remove space between galleries pop up images.

I am struggling with getting the galleries to show as I want them.

Q 1: How can I remove the space between two galleries? In my post I now have three galleries (if I put them together into one the pictures doesn’t display in the sizes I want them to. Making multiple galleries gives me more control over how much space each picture is given). I would like it to look the same as if it were only one gallery – i.e. no white space between them.

Q 2: I’ve clicked the ‘link: none’, but still, if you click on one of the pictures they pop up into a new ‘gallery’. I would like this removed, so that the pictures display without anyone being able to click on them.

    This is my post: https://lykkejeger1.wordpress.com/2017/01/16/monday-mood-2/

If there are any plugins etc. that would make this easier I am also open to that option.

Thank you in advance for your help! I will be so grateful.

    1. As far as spacing, I’m pretty sure it’s not possible to reduce the white space between the galleries without CSS editing. At the moment on that post it isn’t really that noticeable, at least not to me.

    2. “Link to None” only works if you turn off the Photo Carousel for your entire site in Media Settings and do not use the Gallery widget anywhere. You might need to refresh your page after changing that setting in order to see the results.

Plugins are a feature you can use on a standalone install of the WP software. We have a lot of plugin functionality built into WordPressdotcom, but we users cannot upload additional plugins.

Let me know if you need more help with that.

Thank you so much for your help!

Turning off the Photo Carousel worked perfectly for that second part.. :)

Is it possible to edit the CSS on a wordpressdotcom site, or can you only do that on the standalone sites? I know the white spaces isn’t that noticeable but I really wish I could get rid of them somehow, as it breaks up things a bit..

    Hello again, You’re welcome.

CSS editing is possible only with the Premium or Business Plan upgrades. https://wordpress.com/pricing/
