Remove the free wordpress site from search results

    I have mapped a godaddy domain to the wordpress site. When searching, my free website which includes .wordpress.com subdomain also is being displayed. I dont want the worpess.com domain to show in search results.

    Hi there,

    Your custom domain is correctly set as the primary domain on your site, but it will take a few weeks for search engines to re-index your site at the new address. Once that process is complete, the free address should stop appearing in search results.

    But this process is completely in the hands of the various search engines, and not something we have any control over.
