Removing all content from my domain
-
I recently transferred/hosted my domain (matwhill.com) to 123-reg hosting. I want to just use a simple FTP client to upload html documents to the server, as if I never used WordPress. However, I can’t get anything to override my old WordPress blog and have so far found no way of deleting it from the server. The WordPress ‘delete site’ options aren’t very helpful but it did say I should contact someone here.
-Thanks!The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Your domain matwhill.com is still pointed to WordPress.com, which is why your blog appears when you visit your domain. You’ll need to point your domain’s name servers to your new host instead. That change is done with your new domain registrar, 123-reg.
It looks like 123-reg has instructions for changing your domain’s name servers here:
If you run into any trouble, they should be able to help you make that change:
https://www.123-reg.co.uk/support/contactus
If you’d like to completely delete your WordPress.com blog, you can also do that under Tools > Delete Site in the blog’s dashboard. Please note that deleting a blog is permanent and can’t be undone, so only do this if you’re sure you no longer want that blog and blog address: Delete Site
