removing document from page

    hi, i created this for a school project and have since deleted all content. my resume is still showing up in google. it has my phone number on it and i have been receiving calls/text from strangers and this is where they got my number. how can i remove this?

    Hi mariahccontreras,

    Once files have been deleted from the Media Library on a WordPress.com site, we no longer serve copies of them from our servers. Any files appearing in search results are copies that have been indexed by Google. I understand you wanting the resume to be removed but we really don’t have any control over search engine results.

    You can make a request for Google to remove the resume from their search results using the Remove Outdated Content tool:

    https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/removals

    Be sure to enter the URL copied from Google search results (not the original file URL on WordPress.com).
