Removing Email Follower

  I received a request from someone who is an Email Follower to be removed from the blog. It seemed like I could do this in the past, but every piece of information I found relied on the follower to unsubscribe themselves. I don’t think this is a reasonable approach when they come to you asking for this assistance. That means (to me) that they don’t want the burden of doing this themselves, which sounds entirely reasonable to me. As a blog administrator, there ought to be a way to accommodate this.

  The email follower will be able to manage their subscriptions through this link:

  Status

  Also, any email notification they received about your blog will have an unsubscribe link at the bottom.

  However, if that ends up being too much back and forth, please give me the email address (our system will redact the address so that only staff can read it) and I can remove it for you.
