Removing footer from my pages.

There are two ‘contact us’ on my home page, one just doesn’t look right. I’ve tried to move to trash, edit it out but the one that looks wrong does not appear on the edit page or has ‘block’ so I could remove it. I think I added as a footer but even that does not remove it. Help.

  • Hi there,

I only see one contact form at the bottom of your front page. If you want to remove that you need to edit the page titled FMO.

I checked my page again this morning, it now shows only one contact form. I believe that when I went into settings and removed the ‘footer’ and changed my blog to private that it was removed then.

When I tried to remove it by editing the FMO page, the visible one was ok, the contact us button was not turned sideways and appeared normal. I was ok with that one

As soon as I changed my settings to ‘private’ I got viewers, (1 person who looked at 7 pages). That’s ok since I only sent out only 3 invites to certain ‘members, who are seniors and for the most part, are with their families during the Thanksgiving Holidays. Don’t get between a senior and dinner, fair warning.

This is not my first blog, I’ve been using WordPress and created a newsletter in 2007, which over 9 months got over 15K regular viewers from all over the world.
I know things have changed since we closed that newsletter and each theme may work differently but getting this one started was a ‘8itch’.

My hardest job now, 14 years later, is trying to convince them that they can get updates in a minute instead of waiting two months before they read in the FMO Magazine. That’s not your problem that is mine but when a blog runs great, WordPress is by far the best, but when it throws curve after curve, it gets very frustrating.

Like removing the one contact us button, which I think was in the footer.

    Thank you for your response.
Enjoy your Holidays and stay safe.
