removing /home from page address in order to direct to primary url

  Hopefully this will make sense.

  – My primary url shawnjhanji.com is showing an old wordpress home page which i dont want.
  – However, in wordpress the updated ‘home’ page include the /home in the link and I cannot figure out how to remove the /home for the main landing page and content.

  SO, i want this http://shawnjhanji.com/home/ to actually be here shawnjhanji.com instead of http://shawnjhanji.com%e2%80%8e/home which currently happens if i link to the home page from any link on current live site.
  ….Doh!
