Removing jetpack emails after server change
-
I get somewhere between 30 and 100 emails a day after a server was disconnected. So I switched to another hosting service and I continue to get these messages. ‘You are receiving this email because you have activated Jetpack Monitor on your site. If you need to contact support, please include this reference: [33849169/success].’ Is there a way to remove jetpack notices as I cannot stop them.

Hi there,
Are you still using Jetpack on your site? Or did you take the site offline/switch to something other than WordPress without disconnecting Jetpack first?
I can manually disable Monitor for you and disconnect Jetpack from your site if it’s no longer installed on your end, but if you still have the plugin on your site it would be better if you disconnect it yourself from the Jetpack section in the WP-Admin dashboard.
Please confirm.

The self-hosted forums can help with the WordPress software, but not with Jetpack issues. For Jetpack problems, please refer users to the Jetpack subforum instead at
https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpack
or to Jetpack support at
But in this case we’re able to help from this end as well.

Thanks for the reply. I am not using Jetpack on the 5 or so sites listed on the server I was using. I tried to disable before my access on the hosted server was removed. Several of those accounts, I was doing freelance design and that is the emails I am getting spammed with even though the sites are no longer up and running. I can no longer access wp-admin at this point.
Tried to login to both wordpress.org and wordpress.com and cannot see the sites this plugin was installed on. They are not being listed for some reason. If you could disable plugins on those accounts, that would be great.

I see four Jetpack sites in your account:

Should I disable Monitor/disconnect all of them, or is the problem with a specific one?

Okay, I’ve disabled Monitor and disconnected all those sites from your WordPress.com account. The emails should stop now. Let me know if you still receive any, and for which sites.
