Removing my site from search engines

  I would like to hide my site from all search engines, with the end goal being that I am the only person that can find my website by logging in as myself. Please let me know if this is (not) possible, as if it is not then I will delete my site.

  When you set your site to private, nobody including search engines can see your site, https://wordpress.com/support/settings/privacy-settings/

  My site is set to private, but if I Google my username, real name or the name of my site it still appears in the results – you can’t click through to read the content but it’s still there.
