Removing ownership of sites
-
I don’t want to make this site name unavailable to everyone, but I have no interest in keeping it. I want to remove fattyonakayak from my website list. Also is there a way to move my favorite two sites to the top of the list? I want to keep the others, but I want to put my favorite sites to the top.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Are you speaking of the site list at My Sites ->Switch Site?
To remove a site from that list without deleting the site, you can hide it from the My Blogs section of the WP-Admin dashboard:
https://happykayakerblog.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs
If you want to delete a site completely, you can do that from My Site ->Settings. The address will be unavailable to anyone, including you, for at least two years after which it might be released so it can be used again.
The site list at My Sites is ordered alphabetically. There’s no way to pin a particular site to the top of that list.

Thank you! This was a big help for me since I have other sites I want to work on later, but not right now. So in two years the name can be reused? Hmm, maybe I will delete that site I don’t want anymore. Thank you again!

So in two years the name can be reused?
That’s not a guarantee.
In two years the URL MIGHT be released, but there are several criteria that need to be met before that happens so it also might not be released. If there is any chance you’d want to use that address again in future, set it to private, hide it from the My Sites list, but don’t delete it.
