Removing “Posted in Uncategorized” from Pages

  Does anyone know how to remove “Posted in Uncategorized” from pages (not posts)? I really don’t want this on my “About” or “Contact” pages. Thanks!

  Pages can’t have categories assigned to them. Which theme are your referring to?

  I’m using the following theme provided by my host (Siteground): http://wordpress.siteground.com/index.php?wptheme=siteground-wp1.

  I originally thought as well that pages can’t have categories, but for some reason this theme keeps putting the “Posted in Uncategorized” on my pages.

  WordPress.COM blogs pages can’t have categories.

  WordPress.ORG blogs can. That is what you have. You need to be looking for support at http://wordpress.org/support as we won’t be able to help you here, because our blogs work differently.
