Removing search, archives, and meta widget.

  I’ve removed the widgets from the widget page, but they still do not deactivate. How do I get rid of them?

  At the top of the sidebar you install a single text widget without any content, click to open it, click “save” click “close” inside the widget and that will eliminate the sidebar display.
