Removing sidebar widget

  Hi. I am setting up my blog and do not require sidebar widgets but can’t figure out how to remove them. I seem to be going round in circles! Can anyone help? Thanks

  Hi,

  On some themes in order to remove default widgets, which display though no widgets are present in the corresponding widget areas, by adding an empty widget, such as a text widget with no title or content.
