Removing someone else’s post
-
Hi there. Really hoping someone can help me with this. I’m just wondering if it is possible to get someone’s WordPress article removed or deleted permanently from WordPress or from coming up in a Google search? Thank you.

@groggsy your best bet will be to contact the site owner and ask them to remove it. Or, if it’s violating our terms of service, you can report it:
-
Thank you. As far as I can see, the site appears to be gone as I cannot find it when I search but the particular article itself comes up, regardless, on a Google search.

If you click through to the article does it still exist on the site? If it says it’s been deleted, this may help:

Thanks.
I’ve only just found the article on the WordPress blog page from the publisher concerned, it’s from a good few years ago. The actual article itself on the page is fine but there is a link to the full report from an employment appeals tribunal that I don’t understand why it’s there to begin with and so visible/easy to find. -
Hi there,
Can you please let me know the URL of that article and the link to that report so I can have a closer look and further assist you?
-
Hi there.
This is the link to the article.
Thank you.

Thanks for that. The article and the file in question are live on the site, and so search engines will index it unless the site owner disables that option.
As @supernovia mentioned above, your best bet is to contact the site owner directly or, if there is personal information about you on the site, you can report it as explained here: -
