how to remove content from the flounder theme
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I recently activated the flounder theme. On the right side of theme where there is a pin and it has the date and it has edit. I would like to remove edit from the theme because this allows users to look at my blog and go directly to my account and edit and delete my posts as they wish. Is there anyway that this edit function can be removed from my posts?

No you misunderstand. Note that the Admin [edit] link is only for your convenience and the convenience of your Editors, if you have any. And only you and your editors can see it and use it while you are logged in to WordPress.com.

This is also the case with the autofilled information in a contact form or a comment box. Note that your information is visible to you when you are logged in and have not cleared your browser cache and cookies. No one else can see it.
When someone makes a comment on your blog or completes a contact form, unless they have cleared their cookies, WordPress.com will recognize them and complete the details for them. No one else will be able to view those details in comment boxes or in contact forms. The next person who comments will see blank fields. Commenters will not see each others details.
