Removing the $8 Private Registration from Domain Renewal
-
We’d like to remove the private registration subscription from our Domain renewal, how is this accomplished?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
I’ve removed the privacy option on johnrossamerican.com so you can now renew it without that feature. Just a heads-up that you have only a few more days to renew the domain without a $80 late fee being automatically applied!
Just let me know if you need anything else.

Thank you Kathryn, I went to login and renew the domain, but it seems in the time we awaited a response on the prior request, the late fee for the renewal was applied.
We will gladly login immediately and renew if this late fee can be corrected, as it was simply a matter of timing, and we were attempting to renew before that deadline.
If the late fee cannot be waived, we’ll have to pursue other options, and cancel the domain, for as it is priced now is out of our budget.
I do thank you for your time and attention on this. – Jason

Hi Jason, the late fee was actually only added just today, since the domain expired 18 days ago.
I am sending you a payment request for the domain by email, to the address connected to the upgrade owner’s account. If you pay it today I may be able to renew the domain on our end without the late fee. Please let me know if you don’t receive my email within the next hour.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this. I have submitted the payment in via the form provided.

Thanks – I confirmed receipt of your payment and I was able to renew your domain for another year. You can see the status under Store > My Upgrades:
