Removing Trash takes way too lonf

    So, I just permanently deleted 12 items of trash from my site. It took way too long. Something should be done to speed up this process.

    Your site’s activity confirms that all 12 posts were successfully and permanently deleted. The process took about one minute to complete, which is within the expected processing time for a batch of that size. Permanent deletion can take longer than moving items to Trash because WordPress must also remove all associated data.

    That said, I’ll also raise this with our technical team, as I understand that a user might expect the process to be faster.

    Sorry, I don’t know how that time of one minute was corralled, it was definitely longer. I will let it build up again and next time I will time it.
