Not sure what plan to choose? Its a food blog but will later be a business where I’m offering different services, ebooks, cookbooks etc. I don’t want the WordPress branding in my domain name. And I Don’t want any advertisements, but the WordPress can be at the bottom of the webpages

Hi there!
You can start with the WordPress.com Personal or Premium plan. You can always upgrade at a later time if you need more features that are available on the higher plans.
If you want to collect payments on your site, you can use the Payments block that’s available with the WordPress.com Personal plan and higher. If you want to collect payments via PayPal, the Pay with PayPal block is available with the WordPress.com Premium plan and higher. The Business plan will give you the ultimate option for creating an online store with advanced features like the ability for visitors to add multiple items to a cart and go through checkout.
You can see a complete overview of our plans and features here: https://wordpress.com/pricing
With any of the paid plans, you can register a new custom domain and make that primary. Doing so will result in your site loading in your custom domain. The WordPress.com address of your site will redirect to the custom domain that you register. So your visitors won’t see the WordPress.com address anymore.
You can learn more about registering a domain here and connecting a domain you already own here.
Footer credits can be changed on any plan. With the WordPress.com Business plan and higher, you can hide the footer credit completely. Please check out this page for more information: https://wordpress.com/support/footer-credits/
Hope that helps! Feel free to let us know if there’s anything else you need and we’ll be happy to help.
