Renaming website domain

  I want to keep my website exactly the way it is, but need to change my domain name to something more professional. I want to do this without tampering with any of the stuff that I have on my website now. So I want to ensure that changing my website domain’s name won’t get rid of all of the material that I have on my site.

  Hi there,

  You can change your blog address by going to My Blogs, and clicking the Change Blog Address link that appears when you hover over the address you want to change:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/

  Note that you have the option to choose your user name to match the new blog address. If you choose this option, you will not be able to revert back to the original username, and it can affect profile URLs for other services such as Gravatar or IntenseDebate.
