  I need glendaleclassof1973.wordpress.com to be remapped to glendaleclassof1973.com and understand that to do so, I need to renew by paying the $13 yearly subscription

  You should be able to do that by logging into your WordPress.com site’s dashboard, click on Store–>Domains, enter glendaleclassof1973.com in the “add a domain” box and click the “add domain” button. Then simply follow the instructions that appear to map that domain.
