renew my domain

    Hi, please I need your help
    I’m trying to renew my domain by making my payment.
    First I have to change the contact domain information, but no matter how many times I try and saving changes, I CAN’T. Once I get in back to the contact domain information site, the former information is still remaining.
    PLEASE HELP !!!

    I suspect the issue is that the WordPress.com user account that you are posting from does not have any upgrades associated with it. So you may have purchased the domain with another account.

    What is the URL?

    Yes, that domain is owned by another WordPress.com account. You will need to log into that account in order to renew it.

    If you cannot remember the login information for a WordPress.com account, your best bet is to try the account recovery process here:

    But the site was previously transferred to my account, so I’m now the new owner of the site (so I was told). It should be possible for me to make the proper changes for the contact domain information and also the payments details. Should it not?

    Ownership of a site and of a site’s upgrades are not connected specifically. Someone can own an upgrade without owning a site. For example, another site admin can purchase upgrades for a site.

    So it sounds like you will need to talk to the previous owner about getting the upgrade either renewed or transferred to you.
