    Dear Madam/Sir
    I am trying to renew for £15 per year, but when I follow the link all I get is a link to upgrade which the minimum of $2.99 per month. How can I just renew?

    I checked your account and do not see an activate subscription since 2013. If you are trying to renew an upgrade from 3 years ago, you can no longer register or map a domain individually with WordPress.com. Moving forward, domain subscriptions can be purchased as a part of one of our many plans here.     Thank you so much for looking at it – however I am stilla s confused as before. The email I received says:
    The domain name caledoniafindhorn.com is about to expire. This upgrade adds the domain “caledoniafindhorn.com” to your site.

    Renew caledoniafindhorn.com
    The domain caledoniafindhorn.com costs £15.00, and it is set to expire in 90 days, on February 17, 2017. If this upgrade expires, your site will no longer be available at “caledoniafindhorn.com”.

    When I click on renewal I get onto the upgrade page rather than the renewal.

    As far as I know I have renewed the domain every year.

    Ah, the upgrade that was purchased, caledoniafindhorn.com is not associated with the account you contacted us from. Until recently, you were able to renew an upgrade that wasn’t under your account, but now only the owner of the upgrade can. To confirm ownership, post in this thread under the username/account that purchased the upgrade. Then, I can look into renewing the subscription upgrade. However, you should be able to renew the domain if logged into the account that owns the upgrade.

    I am sorry for the delay – the holiday season got the better of my backlog :-). A Happy New Year to you!

    All of this is a great puzzle to me – as this renewal notice came to my email personal address, which I thought I had linked to the wordpress accopunt I am using. So now I am wondering what has changed – what I have forgotten, urgh! I am therefore a bit at a loss which account I am supposed to renew before February 2017.

    Two things are important for me:
    my blog – http://corneliassabbatical2015.blogspot.co.uk/
    the website for my holiday cottage – for which I have a dedicated domain for – http://www.caledoniafindhorn.com – which I thought is on a wordpress platform. But I have to admit that I am not very familiar with it as someone else was managing it for me until last Summer.

    So the big question is – which account needs renewing?

    Not the account that you are contacting me from. You will need to log into the account that owns caledoniafindhorn.com and renew it there. I take it that if someone else was managing the site that the domain is pointing to, are they possibly managing the WordPress.com account of the domain as well? I would check with them to see if they have knowledge of the account.

    This is so confusing – I did get another email in my caledoniafindhorn email – saying that I need to renew before February for £15. This is what it reads:

    The domain upgrade for your blog caledoniafindhorn.com is about to expire.

    The domain name caledoniafindhorn.com is about to expire. This upgrade adds the domain “caledoniafindhorn.com” to your site.

    Renew caledoniafindhorn.com
    The domain caledoniafindhorn.com costs £15.00, and it is set to expire in 36 days, on February 17, 2017. If this upgrade expires, your site will no longer be available at “caledoniafindhorn.com”.

    If you would like to keep the domain you should renew it immediately to avoid a late registration fee or losing it permanently when it expires.

    For a limited time, you can upgrade to WordPress.com Premium for only £76.00.

    But when I try there is no £15 option – just the $2.99 per month. And when I go into Billing history – I get the same info as you – that I haven’t renewed since 2013. Can you please tell me how I can get to the £15 renewal.
