    Can i have a wordpress site without paying for it. I have a domain name
    I am not sure how it works as my friends have wordpress but don’t pay to blog

    I have a domain name I am not sure how it works

    In order to use a custom domain, you need a paid WordPress.com plan. The Personal plan is a great option if you are primarily upgrading to use a domain. Each paid plan includes a domain credit which you can use to register a new domain or map one you already own.
