    I am attempting to renew my domain. I have updated with current credit card information and have repeatedly clicked the renewal button but an action does not appear to take place; I continue to get messages that expiration is looming. What am I missing?

    The domain in your account is linked to the plan on the site that’s owned by the user, kelltay. That user will need to renew the plan in order for the domain to be renewed.

    Ideally a domain and linked plan shouldn’t be in different accounts, so if kelltay can reply to this thread to confirm, I can move the plan over to your account which would allow you to remove it.

    Or I can detach the domain from the plan. In that case the plan will expire if kelltay does not renew it, but you should be able to renew the domain.

    Hey friends! I transferred the domain last week. I followed the instructions given to me by another happiness engineer. I did steps 1-2 here

    Cindy, be sure to update the domain information, including payment information. The instructions are here.

    You transferred the domain, but you did not transfer the site itself or the Premium Plan. The domain is connected to the plan, so Cindy cannot update payment information, as those don’t appear in her account. At the moment the only way to renew the domain, is to renew the plan.

    Should I transfer the Premium Plan to Cindy’s account, or should I disconnect the plan so it expires, while Cindy will be able to renew the domain?
