  Of which upgrade and on which site are you speaking? http://vhcmagazine.wordpress.com/ is on our free plan, and the account you’re using to post here has never bought any upgrades from us.

  All renewals on WordPress.com are processed a month before the upgrade in question expires. This is explained in our renewal terms which you accepted when you first bought your upgrade.
