  I have a partner who was in charge of this website, but she has left the company and has just told me on Sunday that I need to renew this week. I am out of the country without information about my credit card account and hers is expired. Can I ask for a three week extension. I am planning to upgrade. Thank you.

  Hi there,

  The account you’re using to post here does not own any upgrade. Only the account that owns an upgrade can renew it, which in your case is the account, revkerryg

  If that person is no longer involved in your organisation, they need transfer ownership of the domain and site to your account. That’s the only way you will be able to continue managing those upgrades going forward.

  That said, the upgrades will only expire on 25 November, plans are only removed from a site a week after they expire, and a domain can still be renewed for up to 42 days after expiration, at which point it enters redemption where it can still be renewed, at an additional fee, for another 30 days. So there is plenty of time to sort out ownership and renew these upgrades.

  Do note that it is impossible to extend a domain registration for a limited time like this. Domains can only be extended for a full year at a time.
