Renewal failure

    The auto renewal was cancelled and yet I have been charged! Please help refund and cancel the auto renewal and domain registration

    I cannot refund your payment as you have filed a chargeback against us. Your payment to us is now frozen, and can only be refunded once our payment processor completes their investigation into the dispute, which typically takes about eight to ten weeks.

    Additionally, your site has been locked and you won’t be able to make any further changes to it until you pay the Chargeback fee. You can see our full policy on chargebacks here:

    Chargebacks and Disputes

    We provide full refunds on all payments for 30 days and all domains for 48 hours, but then you need to contact us to ask for a refund instead of telling your bank we stole your money.

    If you cancel the dispute I might still be able to refund you, but if it’s already too late to cancel the dispute you’ll need to wait for the process to complete before you’ll receive your refund.

    Hi! Thank you for your speedy response. I wasn’t sure that was how to do it, so I appreciate your willingness to resolve with a refund in that way. I have cancelled any action to dispute via PayPal to enable a refund.

  • Thanks for cancelling the dispute. It might be a few days before the funds are released again, so I’m setting a follow up to check on your account after the weekend. I’ll try to refund the payment as soon as our system allows me to do it.

    Then I also just need to confirm that you’re sure about cancelling tomrossart.com. Cancelled domains don’t be come available again immediately, and if you cancel it you might not be able to use it again in future. Please confirm if I should proceed with that when I issue the refund.

  • Okay, I’ve just processed the refund and cancelled the domain.

    The refund should appear in your account in about 10 business days, but this can vary from one bank to the next. Please follow up with your bank if you don’t see the refund in your statement yet by that time. If you paid directly via PayPal the refund should reflect within a few hours.
