Renewal of membership

  I haven’t asked for renewal of my membership, yet WordPress has unethically used my debit card for transaction towards renewal. I want my payment back. I don’t wish to renew the membership.

  Hi there,

  For what site is this? The account you’re using to post here is only four months old, owns no sites, and has never bought anything from us.

  If you’re not sure what site the charge is for, please search for the charge at https://wpchrg.wordpress.com/. You can also use the Contact Us link on that page to contact our billing support team directly for further help with this – to track down the transaction we’ll need to get some additional information from you which we cannot discuss here in the public forums.

  That said, all WordPress.com upgrades renew annually. This is mentioned in our terms of service you have to accept when you create an account with us, and in our renewal policy which you have to accept when you buy any upgrade from us. We renew upgrades a month before they expire, and send a renewal notification a minimum of 30 days before that renewal takes place.

  Manage Your Purchases

  You can disable automatic renewal at any time during the upgrade’s term if you don’t want this to happen.
