Hi, I renewed my subscription and paid $79, but then i noticed that i made a mistake. What i wanted to do is to get a new domain name and cancel my current one, but instead i renewed my current domain. When i cancelled the purchase, i only got a refund of $53. Why didn’t I get a full refund?

When you cancelled your purchases it only triggered a partial refund. I’ve just issued a refund for the remaining $26.
Refunds usually take about a week to process and show up on your statement. You can view, print or email yourself a copy of the refund receipt from your Billing History here:
