renewing domain mapping

  how can I renew domain mapping without upgrading or addng my card details for automatic renewals

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  I was able to map tinybloomingplaces.co.uk for you. You’ll still need to do a few things:

  1) Purchase the subscription here by renewing:
  https://wordpress.com/my-upgrades

  2) If you haven’t done so already, point the domain to our name servers:

  ns1.wordpress.com
  ns2.wordpress.com
  ns3.wordpress.com

  3) After giving that a few hours to take effect, set the domain as primary under https://wordpress.com/my-domains

  I didn’t want any upgrades and cud not see the option just to renew what I currently have

  You didn’t see the option because once your mapping expired, the option to renew just the mapping went away. We no longer have domain only purchases. The only way you can maintain the plan-less upgrade is if you renew the subscription before it expires each year. Be sure to mark your calendars for next year! =)

  seems a bit unfair perhaps I will find another host it would be nice to be told about these conditions

  Hmm? I already restored your mapping upgrade so you do not need to pay anything over the $13. Since you purchased the mapping before this new policy was in place, you qualify for the $13 purchase, I was just saying that if you let it expire, the system doesn’t give you the option to pay just for the $13. I was just recommending for you to pay before the domain expires so that your domain doesn’t lap for your visitors in addition to going through the hassle of contacting us to manually add it back to your account.

  how do I cancel subscription if I decide not to renew after this year as I see it is the only way I can pay

  I have disabled auto renew for you, so you will not be automatically charged for the subscription. It will naturally expire on 3/14/18 unless you manually renew it.

  Hi I have selected a new theme for my site but the first item on the home blog page does not display continue reading whilst all other do. Do you know why this is and how I can rectify this?

  I recently changed the Theme and the first item on the blog page display differently from the other items on the page in that you have to click in to read it but it is not obvious as it doesn’t display a continue button to click

  What is the name of the menu item? I checked your site and don’t see any of the items that are displaying differently than the others.
