Renewing my site

    Hi — I’m trying to renew my WordPress site and domain name, which used to cost $18 every two years, and included all of the bells and whistles we needed. I received an e-mail urging me to upgrade before the domain name expires, and the cheapest upgrade is $35/year, which is four times as much as the previous cost. Is there a way to renew at my previous rate? If not, can you explain why you’re increasing prices so dramatically? Thank you!

    The issue is that the WordPress.com user account that you are posting from is not the owner of that upgrade.

    Typically this happens because you ended up with a second WordPress.com user account at some point and THAT account is the one that was used to purchase the upgrade. You will need to log into that second account in order to renew the upgrade.
