Repeated requests to reset my password

    I have received at least four emails over the last two days saying I was requesting to reset my password, although this is not the case. I did reset my password following the first email, but have continued to receive emails. I am worried that someone is attempting to access my account. Would you please look into this?

    Hi there,

    If you’re not requesting the password resets, then it does sound like someone else is trying to use your email address to log in.

    I’d recommend updating your email account’s password as well, but as long as your email and WordPress.com accounts have strong passwords someone won’t be able to get into your account this way. As an extra layer of security, please also consider enabling two-factor authentication, on both your WordPress.com and email accounts.

    But there is no way to prevent someone from entering your email address in the password reset form if they know it.
