Reporting Sites

    I want to report a site for abuse and third party statements which reflect defamation of character. The wordpress site says it is not their site however they are linked at the bottom. How can I report this as it needs to be removed before I contact a lawyer and press charges. Statements made on this site are false. virtual-secrets.com

    That is correct. The site you mentioned virtual-secrets.com is using the open source WordPress software (therefore the link), but it is not hosted by WordPress nor is it hosted here on the WordPressdotcom platform.

    You can determine who the web hosting provider is by doing a WHOIS search on the domain name on a site like ICANN. https://whois.icann.org/en/

    I’ve also removed the active link from your above post so as not to drive traffic to their site from this thread.
