Request for API Endpoints for Custom Post Types Integration

    Hi Team,

    I am reaching out to you regarding the integration we have built with your API, you can check out the integration here – https://integrately.com/integrations/wordpress.

    We are looking to add support for custom post types in our integration. Currently, the API endpoint {{pathurl}}/wp-json/wp/v2/posts returns only the Standard Post types and not the custom ones.

    For us to support custom fields, we will need details of certain API endpoints. I am noting them below –
    1) API endpoint to get all the post types with custom post type that is created in the user account.
    2) An API endpoint to get the details of custom fields for a specific post type.
    3) A create custom field API endpoint for creating custom fields for custom posts

    We have a lot of users requesting this enhancement to our integration and it will be very helpful if you could share these endpoints and relevant details with us.

    Hi there,

    WordPress.com is a managed hosting provider for WordPress sites, but we’re just one provider of many, we do not maintain the free open-sources WordPress software at WordPress.org.

    We’re not familiar with Integrately but it appears you are using the wordpress.org (not wordpress.com) API found here: https://developer.wordpress.org/rest-api/

    We are not able to help with wordpress.org API integrations since we are not familiar with it, but you will find help here in the separate wordpress.org forums: https://wordpress.org/support/forum/wp-advanced/
