Request for help – Cannot access my WordPress.com account
-
Hello,
I need assistance from the technical support team.
I created the following WordPress.com site several years ago:
https://celinazoura.wordpress.com/I no longer have access to:
- the email address used to create the account
- the username
- the password
As a result, I cannot log in to manage or delete the site.
I am the original creator and owner of this site, and I am requesting help to either:
- recover access to the account, or
- permanently delete the site if recovery is not possible.
I have already attempted the account recovery form but I need further technical assistance.
I can provide any additional information required to verify ownership (content of the site, approximate creation date, details about its content and purpose).
Thank you for your help.

Hi! Losing access to an old account is really frustrating, especially when you no longer have the original email. Here’s what I’d suggest:
- Try the account recovery form at wordpress.com/account-recovery if you haven’t already — you can sometimes recover access using personal information about the account even without the email.
- If you remember any part of the username or email try variations at wordpress.com/lost-password — sometimes partial information is enough.
- Since you’ve already tried the recovery form and need further assistance, contact WordPress.com support directly at wordpress.com/help/contact and specifically request account verification through alternative identity confirmation. Mention that you can provide details about the site content and creation date to prove ownership.
- If recovery isn’t possible and you just want the site deleted for privacy reasons, Automattic has a process for handling content removal requests through their privacy policy at automattic.com/privacy — this may be the faster route if account recovery isn’t working.
Hope you get this resolved soon!
